“Overall, Chris and Jen were great hosts. Upon arriving, they made us feel right at home and even shared some of their own stories about moving to Nosara - which we found interesting. We love connecting with our hosts and it was clear that they enjoy connecting with their guests. This said, they also provided us with ample privacy. The place was exactly as described with the added benefit of a VERY comfortable bed (*this is a HUGE plus in Costa Rica not to be taken for granted). They obviously went out of their way to make the room comfy and cozy. We loved the treehouse feel and had a sweet view of the ocean from the balcony. The room is breezy and open - the ceiling fan is an absolute luxury in a space like this! Lastly, they even rented us their buggy, which was really convenient. We wouldn't hesitate to rent from them again and would highly recommend their place to anyone looking for an affordable, sweet home.”

“Loved everything about this place! It's in the middle of nature on a quiet road in the hills of Nosara. Some quiet beaches and beautiful coastal spots in walking distance. The sounds of nature all around you in the mornings and nights. The studio itself was very comfortable, large comfy bed, a very comfortable bathroom with plenty of hot water and a little kitchen area with everything you could want. The hammock on the balcony was a lovely touch and the shared pool and pool area were very enjoyable. The parking spot for my car was also very helpful. Chris and Jen were very friendly and accommodating. Great communication upfront and they checked in regularly to make sure everything was ok. They made me feel very welcome.. In short, highly recommended!””

“We had a great time at Hacienda Nosara! We stayed for a week, and loved it. The internet was great for remote work, we used the kitchen for cooking meals, and rented a scooter to get into town. I would definitely recommend a vehicle if you are planning on going back and forth into town as its quite a far walk. There are lots of fun things to do in the area, and Lagarta Lodge is a quick walk for really amazing sunset drinks.””

“This place is super cool and I definitely recommend it. There is a beautiful pool and common area with couches, etc., that are available for use. The washer and dryer on premises worked great and were appreciated. Rooms were simple, clean, and on point. There is a beach about a 10 minute walk away which is where I ran in the morning and took a dip in the ocean afterwards. Chris and Jen are cool and accommodating. Don't hesitate, just book it. “Our stay was wonderful!! Chris and Jennifer were great Host. The house was very clean…Extra towels and linens. Beautiful kitchen to cook in and hang out with friends. They have a chalk board wall, which just brings out the kid in you…we found ourselves playing tic tac toe and other games on it. We truly enjoyed the coastal breeze either laying in the hammock in the living room or lounging by the pool mingling with other guest. They were extremely prompt with getting back to any questions or information we needed. Jennifer made dinner reservations for us and they were extremely thoughtful…definitely VIP seats with the most spectacular views of the sun set. They were eager to help with any accommodations; including transportation to and from airport, dinner transportation, housekeeping, where to watch the super bowl and ATV rentals! Our ATV ran out of gas and they were quick to help with filling it up with gas. The location was great. Easy access to Hotel Lagarta Lodge, which has an amazing sunset view as well! We will definitely be staying there again. Thank you Chris and Jennifer for such a welcoming space to spend time with Friends and Family🥰””

“New and very cute, comfortable space! It is in a quiet area up on a hill in Nosara. Chris and Jen are friendly, easy to communicate with, and provided us with great recommendations for things to do in the area - they have lived there for a few years and know it all well! A few tips from our stay: There are two beaches about a 20 minute walk away. It's hot, humid and dusty on the roads so lots of people opt to drive everywhere. The hotel bar around the corner has a patio with a gorgeous sunset view - get there early to get a good spot! Would also highly recommend K-Rays Black Sheep pub up on the mountainside - she has a pool, an amazing view and monkeys like to swing by in the late afternoons. She takes cash/paypal only. As with anywhere in Costa Rica it's best to have an SUV with 4wd - the roads are rough and often steep...but worth the drive. We would definitely stay here again!”

“Despite not being yet finished, the whole property looks already great (the bungalow itself is finished, wonderfully finished). The bungalow is very well furnished with very tasty touches. It is brand new, big enough with all what you need. With a bit of luck, you can wake up with the monkeys howling and watch squirrels on the trees while you have breakfast on the nice balcony. Huge bed which makes for very comfy sleeps, cozy kitchen and I especially liked the bathroom sliding doors, very beautiful. Playa Pelada is a short stroll away (about 10 mins). The area is very quiet, Chris and Jenn are very nice hosts.”
